R E L E A S E N O T E S
The basic set of features of Token2Shell
is similar to that of our previous
product SecureToken. It supports SSH,
TELNET, TCP direct, COM port and modem
connections. The following briefly
describes some of the new features. More
information will be available when an
official version is released. (We are not
planning on releasing a “Lite” version of
Token2Shell that is equivalent to Token2
Plus.)
Essential configurations are now saved on files.
The configuration files are plain XML
style text files, hence migrating
settings to another PC or backing them up
is now as simple as copying files. The
configuration files are also compatible
with Token2Shell/Mobile. So if you need
to use a terminal emulator on Windows
Mobile devices, you just need to install
Token2Shell/Mobile and copy the
configuration files from your PC to the
device. You can then use the same
settings such as address book, macro and
etc. with Token2Shell/Mobile and vice
versa.
